Good news for all you festival goers out there! Wollongong's Yours & Owls Festival is on track to go ahead next month! The sold-out event has implemented COVID-19 safety measures to ensure all punters can have a safe and memorable experience. In the coming weeks, event organisers will announce a new location for the event, moving from Wollongong's Stuart Park for the first time in the festivals history.
Event organisers shared in a statement: "Hello again Yours and Owls fam! Today we bring you some great news; The NSW Government and Ministry Of Health has advised that our COVID safety plan is approved and that our festival will be able to run this April 17 & 18, pending the current COVID situation remains under control."
The lineup mostly consists of Aussie acts, headlined Tones and I with New Zealand’s viral star, BENEE coming along for the ride. Rounding out the main acts are DMA’s, Lime Cordiale, PNAU, Hockey Dad, Cosmo’s Midnight, Hayden James, Winston Surfshirt, What So Not and Running Touch.
They will be joined by the likes of The Smith Street Band, Slowly Slowly, B Wise, George Alice, Yours Truly, Good Lekker and many more. The festival are also hosting a variety of South Coast acts including Left Side Filter, Slinky Red and Big Twisty and the Funk Nasty.
