ON TOUR WITH BIG TWISTY

Big Twisty and The Funk Nasty took over Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory over the weekend, and we were along for ride in Twisty’s pick up truck!

Bringing the unique flare of his powerful, jaw dropping, funk infused hip-hop to the set, the MC and his band played through some of the musicians iconic tracks (if Pickup Truck isn’t your summer jam what are you doing?) as well as a handful of covers, including an epic performance of the Black Eyed Peas’ Pump It.

Performing two sold-out headline shows, Big Twisty brought the funk, he brought the nasty and he brought the party, with audience members trying their damn hardest to stay in their seats whilst the MC grooved his way into their hearts. The energetic set saw the MC and his band decked out in custom Bernie Thomas, taking to the stage in style.

South coast based musician Warbaby, a member of The Funk Nasty, opened the night performing songs from his debut EP, Songs For The Living.
