Indie-pop artist Holly Hebe is gearing up to release her debut EP, party mix. If you can't wait to give the EP a spin, you can listen to it right here on MILKY!

Across the EP, the track captures youthful experiences as you enter adulthood, navigating chasing your dreams, falling in love, the challenges of a relationship, heartbreak and creating new connections at parties. Introspective and reflective lyricism flows throughout, brought to life by Hebe's sweet and mesmerising vocals. The EP exists within a bedroom-pop sonic realm, capturing the nostalgia and haze of the transitionary period from teenage to adult.

"life of the party is about the difficult balance between chasing your dreams whilst also being able to love and support your partner in their endeavours. I wrote this in my bedroom whilst there was a party going on that I couldn't get to. This made me focus on the metaphor of a relationship - it's knowing when your other half is the life of the party and it's your turn to be their cheerleader" Hebe shares of the EP's opening track.

To celebrate the release, Hebe took to the stage at Melbourne's The Gasometer Hotel over the weekend to perform tracks of the EP. The singer also supported Alfie Templeman on his Australian tour earlier this year.
