Overnight, Aussie band Hockey Dad announced they will be performing an exclusive live streamed show to celebrate the release of their new album, Brain Candy.
Continuing the zombie theme of the release, the band made the announcement via a “news report” posted to their official YouTube account stating that members of the band had “escaped an involuntary testing program at Windang Chemical Industries”. The tongue-in-cheek video urges fans not to watch the live stream as “these sounds are highly contagious”.
The livestream performance comes after the band were forced to postpone their drive-in album launch shows at Bulli Showground due to recent weather. With the shows postponed to October, tonights live stream gives fans across the globe the chance to experience the bands new album live.
Brain Candy is out now, read our review here! Tune into Hockey Dad Alive At The Theatre - Livescream tonight, 8:00pm AEST.
