Perth trio Dulcie are hitting the road with new music in tow! The band have dropped their new single, Cold Hard Truth, ahead of their national tour.

Kicking off in Brisbane on August 4, the tour will continue on to Sydney and Melbourne, before wrapping up in Margaret River on August 12. Along for the run of shows is Hollie Joy, Dizzy Days, 90ivy, Angela Rose, Mvlholland, Harper Bloom, Supathick, Siobhan Cotchin and Mia June.

“Cold Hard Truth explores the frustration, insecurity and longing that comes from not knowing if someone feels the same way you do. It’s all about that waiting period, where you want them to make a move before you do!" band member Ashleigh Carr-White shares. “I originally wrote this song to be much slower and stripped back, but after workshopping it with the band and our producer it’s taken on a more punchy indie pop sound, which I love! We recorded it in my living room with Joel Quatermain and spent most of our time finding the perfect synth layers and midi sounds to bring it to life.”

Made up of Carr-White, Timieka Denton and Saskia Brittain, the band made their debut in 2019 with Fall, before the release of their debut EP, Sake Of Sound, last year. The trio have toured extensively, having taken to the stage at festivals inlcuding as BIGSOUND and Groovin The Moo, and sharing the stage with Tyne-James Organ, San Cisco, Polish Club, Spacey Jane and more.
