Iconic sister-duo Vika & Linda have gifted the world with their long awaited seventh studio album, The Wait. Featuring the singles Raise Your Hand, My Heart Is in the Wrong Place, Like a Landslide and Lover Don't Keep Me Waiting, the album is the first full-length release of original songs from the duo in nineteen years.

Produced by Steven Schram and Cameron Bruce, the soulful release is a welcomed return from the sisters, sharing a powerful body of work that is built upon timeless tracks, bringing their signature storytelling lyricism and enchanting harmonies. The duo have teamed up with a number of respected songwriters, with credits from Don Walker, Glenn Richards, Chris Cheney, Bernard Fanning, Kasey Chambers and Brandon Dodd, Ben Salter, Paul Kelly, Neil Murray and Matt Walker, Mick Thomas and Jemma Rowlands, and emerging talent Eva Seymour.

“It took us three times to make this record, it kept getting delayed,” Linda says. “And we’ve been waiting 19 years to make this record … Waiting for more songs. Waiting for the right opportunity.”

Vika & Linda are set to hit the road later this year, bringing their live show to audiences nationwide. Kicking off in Brisbane on November 11, the run of shows will continue on to Adelaide and Melbourne, before wrapping up in Sydney on November 25th at the State Theatre.
