Across the track, the band explore the anxieties surrounding friendship, relationships, putting yourself first and the 'coming-of-age' period of life atop blistering guitar work and driving percussion. Capturing the frenetic energy of a garage band, the songs visual critiques the sometimes frenzied process of planning within a band atmosphere.
“There are so many directions a video can take in the planning phase so we figured we could make a video about the conflicts of that process. The edit comes across like it was poorly put together from the director (Hyperview Visuals) and that the whole band wasn’t happy about the creative direction. Sometimes things don’t work out as intended when tackling a project like a music video and we figured it tied in with the song's theme too. The unprofessional setting of recording it in Trent’s shed highlights a bad location choice from the director and adds to the overall aesthetic of the concept.” the band share of the visual.
