Brisbane indie-rockers Concrete Surfers have just dropped their new single, Eat The Rich. If you’re like us and hanging to see the visual, watch the songs official music video right here on MILKY before its release!
Directed by Harley Jones, we follow the four-piece as they live the lavish life, riding along the river in a motor boat, fishing and strolling along the sand. The visual takes on a comedic approach to the imagery, juxtaposing the luxe lifestyle associated with the themes conveyed, with moments of Australiana.
Speaking of the visual, the four-piece share: "As a band we thought it would be fitting if we did a yacht rock style film clip. We wanted it to be ironic and comedic with wearing the white suits that are common with these videos, with the juxtaposition of using cheap tinnies in a dirty creek."
Eat The Rich comes hot off the heels of the bands recent string of shows, which included sharing the stage with Dune Rats and Big Twisty in a sold-out show at Fortitude Music Hall as well as selling out their own headline Adelaide show. The four-piece are currently working on their new EP, with more live shows planned for later this year.
