Watch our interview with Oliver Cronin below!

Breakout Australian pop star Oliver Cronin is back with his new single, Speed Bump. The release arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Melanie Or.

Produced by COBRA and Ayoley, the track finds the musician into darker sonic territory that brings together notes of alr-rock and trap woven together into one dynamic soundscape. Cronin's simmering vocal performance brings introspective lyricism to life, as he explores the demise of a relationship.

“I wrote ‘Speed Bump’ on TikTok live with the help of fans. I was at a time in my life where I felt I could do no right, everything seemed to be falling apart. Something that I feel everyone can relate to is the period after a significant loss. Whether it be a breakup, loss of friendships, or a loved one, we all go through a moment of pain where it feels like the world is ending. I hope this track can show people that they’re not alone, and let’s push through this together.” the musician shares.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Post Malone, Chase Atlantic and Justin Bieber, Cronin began producing tracks from his bedroom and sharing his compositions with his vast following on TikTok. The musician found a new legion of fans with his breakout hit earlier this year, Boys Don’t Cry, which was written during a TikTok live with fans. Late last year, Cronin has unveiled his debut EP, Beautiful Nightmare.
