DULCIE ANNOUNCE EAST COAST TOUR

Their new single tell ur friends is out now!

Perth-based trio Dulcie are returning to the east coast for a string of headline shows! Hot off supporting Ocean Alley on their national tour, the band will visit Melbourne and Sydney this April, before a hometown performance later that month in Perth.

Expanding on their indie-pop sonic realm, the trios latest offering brings their signature bewitching harmonies and vivid storytelling lyricism. Produced by Joel Quartermain and co-written with Chí, the track explores the uneasy early stages of a relationship and the ever so awkward stage of trying to define what exactly you are to each other.

“This song came about a bit like Frankenstein – with various bits and bobs picked from previous half-written songs and merged together with a song co-written with Chris Chidiac. It’s about that awkward “what are we” phase in a relationship and the inner knowing of your own self worth.” the band share of the track

Made up of Ashleigh Carr-White, Timieka Denton and Saskia Brittain, tell ur friends marks the first release from Dulcie since the departure of former band member, Madison Hanley. Forming in April 2018, the four-piece shared their first single in 2019 with Fall, before the release of their debut EP, Sake Of Sound, last year. The trio have toured extensively, having taken to the stage at festivals inlcuding as BIGSOUND and Groovin The Moo, and sharing the stage with Tyne-James Organ, San Cisco, Polish Club, Spacey Jane and more.
