Warner Music Australia have announced their partnership with Warner Records US, bringing 19 year old Coodjinburra singer-songwriter Budjerah's music to audiences across the US. The news comes weeks after the musicians signing with Mushroom Music Publishing, with new music from Budjerah set to arrive later this month.

Of the partnership Budjerah comments, “It’s really amazing to be working with Warner Records! I’m really grateful for the opportunity they’ve given me to reach more people with my music and I’m even more excited for what’s to come!”

Dan Rosen, President of Warner Music Australasia adds “I’m thrilled to partner with Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Schuck and the whole Warner Records team to help grow Budjerah’s fan base and career in the US. I know they can take him to a global audience. Budjerah is destined for big things and we cannot wait to see him take the next step in his career.”

Raised in a home full of instruments and playing in family bands, making music was inevitable for the young singer-songwriter. "I grew up singing Sam Cooke and listening to gospel singers like The Clark Sisters. My dad taught me how to sing and that's the kind of music that has been around since I was little," he says.

His debut EP, Budjerah, sees the musician continue his collaborative efforts with ARIA and J Award-winning artist Matt Corby, who produced the body of work. The pair worked tirelessly on the EP, crafting the sound that would introduce the world to Budjerah’s musical abilities. Produced and co-written by Corby, Budjerah - Live At Rainbow Valley was recorded at Corby’s Rainbow Valley studio in the Northern Rivers in NSW.

Budjerah is out now!
