Singer-songwriter Will Blume has unveiled his new single, Green Eyes. The track serves as the final teaser before the release of his debut EP, Skylights, due out March 29.
Recorded with Oscar Dawson of Holy Holy, the song explores the dynamics of a relationship and supporting one another whilst also coming to terms with your own mental state. Blume's soothing vocals float above a guitar-led soundscape, chanelling the likes of Jason Mraz and Vance Joy.
“Sunset Feeling was born from a party on the beach around a driftwood fire watching the sunset sink into the sand,” explains Blume. “A close friend was jamming on a cheap guitar, and I found the lyrics flowing through me in a freestyle. This moment created a carefree rhythmic flow and something truly special.”
