American alt-rock trio Wallows have returned with their new single, Your Apartment.
Co-written by the band and Nate Mercereau (Andre 3000, Shawn Mendes), with production from John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten), the band continue their exploration of alt-meets-indie-rock sonics, with the songs soundscape building towards a stadium ready chorus. The release arrives alongside a one-take visual starring the band, and directed by Nina Ljeti.
“We’re so excited and eager to be releasing music for the first time in nearly two years. It’s the longest we’ve been silent and it feels good to finally be back. This is the first song from our new album that fully came together lyrically quite some time ago now, so it feels right that it gets heard first.” the trio share of the introspective release.
Made up of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston, the bands single Are You Bored Yet? recently achieved triple Platinum certification in the United States. The trio also announced an exclusive Record Store Day 5th anniversary vinyl pressing of their debut album, Nothing Happens.
