THE VANNS - TWO YEARS ON: EVOLVING ON 'LAST OF YOUR KIND'

Watch our interview with The Vanns below!

South Coast four-piece The Vanns have delivered their hotly anticipated sophomore album, Last Of Your Kind. We caught up with the band two years on from our first interview to chat about the body of work, their evolution and so much more!

Produced by longtime collaborator Chris Collins (Skeggs, Middle Kids Tyne-James Organ), the record finds the band taking a more collaborative approach to creating, presenting a cohesive body of work that builds upon their signature sound.

Thematically Last Of Your Kind encapsulates the human experience, with a driven focus on relationships, mental health, spontaneity and endurance. Relatable and introspective lyricism is brought to life by frontman Jimmy Vann's hypnotic vocal performance, whilst the record darts between blazing soundscapes and intimate moments that showcase the depth and breadth of their musicianship.

The band have been celebrating the release with a string of album launch shows and in-store appearances. Their final Australian stop will take place at The Zoo in Brisbane tonight, before heading to New Zealand next month for performances in Wellington and Auckland. The Vanns are also set to appear at this years edition of Splendour In The Grass, joining the likes of Lizzo, Flume, Mumford & Sons and more. Tickets to all shows are on sale now!
