As we edge closer to this years Splendour In The Grass, we've been treated the announcement of a whole lot of artist sideshows. Headlined by x GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, rapper and flautist, Lizzo, electronic music titan Flume and British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons, this years edition is stacked with local and international talent.
With Lizzo having already announced a national tour off the back of her Splendour appearance, and Lewis Capaldi's Australian tour announced months ago, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sam Fender, Little Simz, IDLES, Tove Lo, Loyle Carner, J Balvin, Arlo Parks, slowthai, iann dior, Rainbow Kitten, Noah Cyrus, Sudan Archives and Del Water Gap have all revealed they'll be hosting their own headline shows.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs will hit Melbourne's MCA and Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on July 20 and 24 respectively, supported by Automatic, whilst Little Simz will take to the stage at the same venues on July 19 and 21 respectively. Sam Fender will head to Perth to perform at HBF Stadium on July 20, with IDLES performing at Melbourne's Festival Hall on July 26. Tove Lo will be taking over Melbourne's Forum on July 19 and Sydney's Roundhouse on July 25.
Loyle Carner will bring his live show to Sydney's Enmore Theatre on July 22, Adelaide's Hindley Street Music Hall on July 25 and Melbourne's Palais Theatre on July 27. Meanwhile, J Balvin's Melbourne performance will take place at Margaret Court Arena on July 23, before he visits Sydney's Hordern Pavillion on July 25. Arlo Parks will perform at Melbourne's Forum on July 17, the iconic Sydney Opera House on July 20, Adelaide's The Gov on July 23 and Perth's Astor Theatre on July 25.
The fun keeps going with slowthai set to take to the stage at The Rechabite on July 17, Sydney's Enmore Theatre on July 19, Adelaide's Hindley Street Music Hall on July 20 and Melbourne's Forum on July 22. iann dior's shows will take place at Melbourne's 170 Russell and Sydney's Metro Theatre on July 19 and 22 respectively, before Rainbow Kitten Surprise play Sydney's Metro Theatre on July 20 and Melbourne's 170 Russell on July 21. Sudan Archives will perform at Sydney's Liberty Hall on July 22 and Melbourne's 170 Russell on July 25, and Del Water Gap will play Melbourne's Howler and Sydney's Ocford Art Factory on July 21 and 22.
Noah Cyrus will host her headline shows at Sydney's Metro Theatre on July 9 and Melbourne's 170 Russell on July 16, whilst also joining fellow Splendour performer Lewis Capaldi on his national tour. Kicking off with a newly added show at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on July 7, the tour will continue on to Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, before crossing the Tasman for performances in Auckland and Wellington. The shows mark Capaldi's first arena tour of Australia,
