Multiple GRAMMY® Award winners Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have delivered another sizzling track under their musical collaboration Silk Sonic with Smokin' Out The Window. The duos debut album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, arrives this Friday!

Continuing the smooth and retro soulful sonics of their previous tracks, the breakup song explores betrayal and heartbreak. The track arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Mars and John Esparza, that captures the nostalgia of televised performances from the 70's and 80's.

Having already scored Best Group at the 2021 BET Award for Leave the Door Open, the pair have us waiting on our tippy toes for their full-length release. Their second single Skate cemented the smooth and soulful sonics of their debut ARIA platinum selling single Leave The Door Open, bringing a more upbeat groove to the track.

The duo began flirting with the idea of a collaboration in 2017, when Anderson .Paak supported Mars on the European leg of his 24K Magic World Tour. One late-night jam session on the road unlocked immediate chemistry. Just before the world slipped into quarantine, Mars called Anderson: “Remember that idea we had back in 2017? Let’s do it.” One studio session grew into to a months-long collaboration, culminating the “setlist of doom.” The legendary Bootsy Collins christened Silk Sonic and came in as the “special guest host” for An Evening With Silk Sonic, their forthcoming debut album, due out later this year.
