ARIA Award winning and Grammy-nominated engineer from The Teskey Brothers, Sam Teskey his unveiled his heartwarming new single, Til The River Takes Us Home. The musician is also set to hit the road this October on a national tour.

Taken from the musicians forthcoming debut solo record, the minimalist track is built upon organic sonics, recorded live with Teskey's longtime collaborator Naomune Anzai. The acoustic release captures the outdoor setting in which it was recorded, with a flock of local birds heard in the distance.

“A big point of this album is for people to create their own journey and their own story with it,” Teskey says of the record. “There’s lots of things that I can explore and think about and say about the record, but I really want to leave the experience up to the listener. To see what comes to them. It’s feels really nice to put the creativity back in the listeners’ hands.”

Kicking off in Brisbane on October 8, the run of shows will continue on to Sydney, Adelaide and Castlemaine, before wrapping up in Melbourne on October 23. Tickets are on sale now.
