Sydney-based alternative-rock trio RADICALS have dropped their new single, i hate myself. Produced by Daniel Antix at Def Wolf Studios, the cathartic track roars with distorted guitars and booming drums, whilst front man Brandon Wade's vocals take centre stage.

Speaking of the track, Wade shares: “It’s about really not being happy with yourself, whether it be your actions, the way you look or the way you feel, and sometimes not even knowing why you feel this way. I think it’s something a lot of people can relate to at some point in their lives. The song tackles depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, literally anything that makes you doubt or feel bad about yourself. But as with most things there is light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to hang in there to see it. I guess if there’s one thing to take away from this song, it’s that ‘It’s okay not to be okay sometimes’.”

Made up of Wade, Myles Harrison and Nick Karim, the trio will be hitting the road the road on their east coast tour, kicking off tomorrow night in Gosford. This continues on from the group selling out headline shows across NSW and the Gold Coast, including at The Lansdowne, Oxford Art Factory and Vinnies Dive Bar, and supporting homegrown favourites Ruby Fields, LOSER and The Dead Love.
