Perth alt-rockers Shangrila are gearing up for the release of their new single, Sunlight. If you can't wait to give the track a spin, watch the songs music video right here on MILKY!
Serving as a celebration of time spent together and those long nights full of wonder and camaraderie, Sunlight continues the bands alt-rock exploration, whilst introducing lighter sonic moments. The track is the first offering of new music since the release of their 2021 sophomore EP, Analog Youth, the track also marks the bands first release with bassist Gabrielle Morri and guitarist Chad Lambert.
“Sunlight is a song about blocking out the noise of the outside world and being in the moment with the person you love. It’s an ode to the big nights out and the special moments where everything else happening in your life just falls away for a while.” the five-piece share of the track.
To celebrate the release, Shangrila Perth's Amplifier Bar on Saturday July 2nd for a single launch show. The band will be joined by Idle Eyes, Spici Water and Thank You Frank.
