Capturing the emotions that bubble when isolated and distanced from family and friends, the track offers up moments of lyrical introspection brought to life by frontman Lachlan Buckle's bewitching vocals. Written, produced and mixed by Buckle, the track serves as the first taste of their forthcoming EP, The Condensation, and arrives alongside an official visual directed by Jack Cassidy. Stitching together nostalgic home video style clips with shots of Buckle performing the track, the songs music video captures the camaraderie of friendship and the beauty found in time spent with one another.
"I wrote "Friends" before COVID when I moved to a new city and was feeling pretty isolated at the time from both myself and friends but I guess now during these times it feels more relevant than ever." frontman Lachlan Buckle shares with MILKY.
Beginning as Buckle's solo musical project, the musician soon joined forces with drummer Tom, guitarist Sam, bassist Annie and percussionist Randy. Since launching in 2020, Seasoning have wasted no time forming a local live presence, having performed across the Gold Coast and sharing the stage with the likes of Echowave, Future Haunts and more.
