Last week, Melbourne’s SANNIA shared her new single, Sad Rich Girls. If you’re hanging to see the visual, watch the songs official music video right here on MILKY before its release!

Taking to the ring, the visual captures the empowering message of the track, reflecting the gear change from defence to offence and not holding back when faced with a blow. In the clip, we meet a female boxer from Madrid, who throughout all the punches thrown her way, rises stronger than ever.

Speaking of the track, the singer shares with MILKY: "When case numbers started to really take off I realised I was on my own with this one, and decided to just wing it. I trawled the internet for stock footage and royalty free videos and stumbled across a kick-boxing series filmed in a Madrid gym by director duo Adonis Macias Reina and Bea Hohenleiter and fell in love. I was so captured by the lead actress’s performance that I set out to map out a rough plot, and spent the rest of the night editing it on the only software I have, iMovie (RIP) and I’m a decade older for it honestly ... If you’d have told me a year ago I’d be editing my own music video, I’d have laughed, and probably still would - I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing but that’s life-during-covid, absolutely cooked."

The cheeky diss track is the latest release from the singer following a brief hiatus, and her nomination as a finalist in Nashville’s International Songwriting Competition. SANNIA has shared the stage with the likes of The Rubens, Tia Gostelow, Kira Puru, Eliott and Thando.
