Serving as the latest taste of the artists forthcoming album, Misguided Laughter & The Search For Sanity, the track chronicles KID LAB RAT's thoughts on addiction and owing how past decisions have steered your life. Fusing together sonic threads of grunge and rap, the songs dynamic soundscape is driven by propulsive percussion and the musicians commanding vocal performance.
"Candlelight is a grunge-rap track that was written while I was in rehab one night unable to sleep thinking about the damage and pain I had caused from years of addiction. The song is about taking accountability and not giving up when it seems darkest. It was written in the hopes it might help someone in the same situation not feel so alone." KID LAB RAT SHARES.
