Directed and animated by Lokyu, the songs visual creates a new world, telling the story of a travelling figure traversing the world in search of their identity. The track pairs together ambient electronic production with organic instrumentation, slayed beneath introspective and reflective lyricism and warm and captivating melodies.
Speaking of the visual, Dawson shares: "This video is accompanied by a music video directed and animated by Lokyu. The project took the best part of 7 months to storyboard, direct and then animate and the result is something that I’m immensely proud to have my name on. The story follows a character who travels back to his home planet to re-discover a lost sense of identity."
Hailing from Perth, the producer and singer-songwriter creates reflective moments of introspection throughout his music.His immersive live show has seen him support the likes of Broods, Emma Louise, Vera Blue, Asta, Boo Seeka, Thelma Plum, Wafia and Japanese Wallpaper. After amassing millions of streams and two national tours in support of his first two EP’s, 2021 will see the release of Dawson's debut album, Looking Over The Red Lights.
