Filmed live from Sydney's Phoenix Central Park, the visual captures Churchill performing the track in an intimate in-the-round setting, accompanied only by guitar and cello.
Waiting For The Sun is taken from Churchill's latest EP, Again, which serves as the fourth and final chapter from the musicians four part EP collection, I Am Forgetting The End Again. The latest EP embodies a sense of completion and catharsis through warm electronic soundscapes and deeply honest lyrical reflections. Recorded with the producer Chris Bond (Ben Howard, Hall and Oats, Hollow Coves) and his brother Andrew ‘Bear’ Bond, the EP will show the mysterious and dream-like beginnings of a new cycle of life.
Churchill has toured the globe, having played countless of headline shows and performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Montreal Jazz and Telluride Blues. The singer has also supported the likes of Milky Chance, Billy Bragg, Michael Franti, and The Medicine People. His 2017 record, Weight Falls, debuted at #6 on the ARIA charts, and produced the hit singles, Second Hand Car and Breakneck Speed.
