Masaya frontman Reiki Ruawai is set to drop his debut solo single Miller tomorrow. We’re excited to give fans an exclusive first look at the tracks music video!

Recently signing with Believe Digital, the New Zealand singer sees in a new sonic sound of heavy R&B with fresh harmonies, with a focus on kick and bass. Directed by Billy Lee-Pope, music video sees the singer wandering around a surf club in his hometown of Raglan.

Of the track, Ruawai tells MILKY exclusively, "I wrote the song on lockdowns first rainy day when it had been sunny weather all week. I tried to capture the hardship of your winter feels when you’re stuck wishing and impatiently waiting for summer to come around the corner”.

The singer formed Masaya after being tasked with a university assignment that required he assemble a band. Enlisting his sister Kaea as the bands drummer, and friend Muroki on bass. Before long, Joe Kaptein joined the band on keys with the band releasing their debut EP in 2019.

Ruawai has been working hard on his solo music, with the next twelve months seeing the singer drop handful of singles, followed by an EP. Miller is out tomorrow. Watch the tracks music video below!
