Could It Be? continues the duos exploration of 90's brit-pop inspired sonics, bringing mesmerising guitar lines and driving percussion simmering below captivating melodies. Atticus Roness' vocals soar above glistening nostalgic production, with the track conceptually exploring loneliness within an age of constant connection.
"We feel that Could it be? is a call to the 90s style brit-pop we are in love with, but holds a sentiment that still and especially echoes within today’s social climate. We really are proud of this piece and what it means to us, and hopefully means to anyone epic enough to listen" the brothers share.
Making their debut last year with Gimmie Love, The Corduroy Blue have spent their time since honing in their sonic sound, leaning into the retro influences laced throughout their releases.
