Melbourne alt-rockers Okay Dane are gearing up to drop their new single, Goldfish. If you can't wait to give the track a spin, listen to the song exclusively on MILKY!
Laced with riotous guitars and driving percussion, Goldfish brings all the zesty energised sonics we love from Okay Dane, further showcasing their ability as skilled songwriters and storytellers. Across the song, the band explore how feelings of loneliness and isolation can spark gratitude for the brighter moments in life.
“Goldfish was written over half a year starting in the middle of the 2021 Melbourne lockdowns, it started out as just being a reflection of how I was feeling with the isolation, missing family and friends and longing to play live again.” Band member Jake Kougioumtzis shares. “As it evolved with re-writes and collaborations with the band it has become a reminder of where we were and not to take any of those things for granted”
Currently in the midst of a national tour, the four-piece have already taken to the stage in Adelaide and Brisbane. The tour will continue on to Canberra tomorrow night, before heading to Sydney and wrapping up in Melbourne on July 29. Tickets are on sale now!
