Aussie singer-songwriter Manning Patston is set to drop his new single Sunflower Eyes tomorrow. If you’re like us and can’t wait, listen to the track right here on MILKY before its release!

On the track, the musician navigates the bittersweet feeling of falling for someone, knowing your time together won’t last. The conversational song perfectly captures feelings of love, hurt and dread. “The single is inspired by the awkward conversation I had with someone I used to know” Patston explains of the release. The song perfectly exhibits Patston skills as a musician, creating a perfect indie-pop, folk infused soundscape that highlights his powerful vocals

Sunflower Eyes is the third track in a string of single releases from Patston this year. Earlier in the year, the singer released Rolling Souls and his collaboration with Zac Gomes, Calling You Sober. The tracks are set to appear on Patston’s upcoming sophomore EP.

The Blue Mountains born singer has spent the past few years perfecting his skills and honing in on his craft, performing across Sydney in pubs, bars, markets, pavements and bedrooms. Building his fanbase through his extensive performing, the singer supported local musician Tyne-James Organ in early 2019.
