WA five-piece Man Sandal are set to unveil another taste of her forthcoming debut record, Chess Club, with their new single, Can't Mean Much. If you’re like us and can’t wait, listen to the track right here on MILKY before its release!

Built upon sun-drenched guitar riffs and soft, intimate vocals, Can’t Mean Much pushes and pulls, both musically and lyrically. Made complete with trickles of grand piano, violin, and trumpet, the track fuses together folk and jazz influences into an alternative soundscape that allows mesmerising vocals to float atop.

With two EP's and a string of singles under their belt, the five-piece made their way to the town of Bremer Bay in early 2020 to work on their debut full-length body of work. The shores of the southern ocean provided the backdrop for an album of earnest and direct songwriting, with emotion, energy, and depth.

Since their formation, the band have amassed a faithful live following, including sets at Nannup Music Festival, Fairbridge Festival, and WAMFest. Nominated for WAM Song of the Year in 2017 and 2020, Man Sandal have also been featured on Triple J Unearthed, and supported Noah Dillon on his regional tour dates in early 2020.
