Speaking of the release, the singer shares: “I wrote this at a time when I needed to believe that what was going on in my life, was taking me to the place that I needed to be. It’s about trust. When it comes to nature and the cycles of the seasons, we have this deep understanding of the ebb and flow of things and this song was about trying to translate this trust into how you view change in your own life.”
Inspired be attending one of Laura Marling’s performances in Sydney, the singer re-routed her musical attention, focusing on creating an intimate sonic soundscape that juxtaposed the sounds of high-end electronic artists Tori had collaborated with. Prior to her debut solo release, the singer has toured and collaborated with Rufus Du Sol, Toucan, Makaw, Chores and Xillions.
