Houston-based singer-songwriter, Ivy Rose is set to release her new single, Home, this Friday. If you can’t wait to give the track a spin, listen to the song right here on MILKY before its release!

Co-written and recorded with Lab78’s creative team of Nicholas Littlemore and Peter Mayes (Empire of the Sun, PNAU), the track continues the singers exploration of 90's rock based sonics. Set to feature on her forthcoming EP, Home conceptually re-routes the age old idea of ''home is where the heart is', finding solace in your surroundings and being alone. The intimate track allows Rose's vocals to soar, mesmerising listeners with her refreshing performance.

Speaking of the track, Rose shares with MILKY: “I spent my childhood in Louisiana before making the move over to Houston where I did most of my growing up. A little later I was luckily able to spend a lot of time with my parents living in Ireland. I haven’t been back there in a long time now, I think I miss that place the most. As much as I have moved around a lot, home has always been any place where I’m comfortable to just be alone. Alone writing, making, playing…I guess just creating. Hopefully if you're lost, this song will find you somewhere.”

Rose recently signed with with Australian record label Lab78, founded by PNAU’s Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes. The signing comes after Littlemore’s wife, artist Gigi Rose Gray, discovered the singers covers on YouTube,
