Conceptually, I Wish My Mind Would Shut Up documents the singers own mental state and her penchant for overthinking, longing to find a way to keep her mind relaxed.
'I Wish My Mind Would Shut Up' is pretty much a page ripped from my journal, and it's the first release from my upcoming EP. I am a huge overthinker and find it impossible to quiet the thoughts in my head, so I found it really cathartic to let out these frustrations in a musical way. For this song I wanted to create a world full of dramatic soaring strings, restless plucked violins and choirs of voices echoing every line. I feel like this song would resonate with anyone with an overactive mind and an apocalyptic way of thinking." the singer shares.
