Newcastle based musician Elaska Young is gearing up to release his new single, Don't You Call It Love, teaming up with Jordan Hunt on the track. If you can't wait to give the track a spin, you can listen to the song right here on MILKY!

Co-produced by both artists, Don't You Call It Love pivots towards more hip-hop based sonics, whilst still bringing Elaska Young's signature beguiling synth work. Exploring the idea of a debaucherous relationship fuelled by passion, Young and Hunt deliver effortless performances, brought to life by conversational and forward lyricism.

“Jordan and I met through playing gigs together in the Newcastle music scene. There is a lot of incredible talent here. Jordan actually wrote this beat for my younger brother, SHORTZ, who’s an up and coming MC from Brissy. When SHORTZ didn’t want the beat I just kind of accidentally wrote the song one evening. I say ‘accidentally’ because I wasn’t sitting down to write anything, the beat was just already open on my computer and the song fell out of me. As soon as Jordan heard it he wanted to be in on the action. His part comes in from about 2:07 and it blew me away when he showed it to me. I often joke that my part is really a 2 minute intro to the real song, which is his section. That’s how good I think his writing is. Do not press skip before you get to his part. It is worth the wait.” Elaska Young shares of the track.
