Regional-Queensland producer Arthur Wimble is set to release his new single, Love's So Dumb, this week. If can’t wait to give the track a spin, listen to the song right here on MILKY before its release!
Having released a string of singles, including 2018's Miss You, which features in HBO's Search Party and ABC's The Fix, Wimble returns with his contemplative and heartfelt new single. Love's So Dumb navigates and documents the emotions surrounding heartbreak, feelings of guilt and failure, delivered with emptiness and simplicity.
Speaking of the track, Wimble shares with MILKY: "Love’s So Dumb explores the chaos in romance, trust and strength. It is a story of one that falls out of love, because of a greater love interest in the past. The song highlights the complexity and failure in the situation that often issues guilt and heartbreak, yet delivered with emptiness and simplicity. I wanted to introduce this EP with a song that was written in a simple and reflect style, but equally reveal the complexity in love and doubt."
Wimble is an Australian artist and producer, known for his dynamic and emotional take on antipodean electronic dance music. Utilising artificial sounds and warm, rhythmic language as a counterpoint, Wimble composes complex soundscape, that caught the attention of Teef Records, who went on to sign Wimble.
