Tasmanian singer-songwriter, Lasca Dry recently shared her new single, The Ocean. To celebrate the release, the singer has curated a collection of songs for MILKY full of tracks she thinks ooze with big female energy!
“This is a song about expressing the feminine through elements in nature, using the ocean as a metaphor, and the different forms that the ocean takes on: the smooth, the calm, the crazy, and everything in between-and it’s an affirmation of how beautiful that spectrum is. It’s about women, but mostly about myself, and how we have a vast internal world, and how necessary the feminine is for the existence of everything.” the singer shares of the track.

This song has such a beautiful way of expressing how a woman feels after heart break. I really like the metaphor in the title line; a heart can be beautiful but easier shattered.
