Multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, dancer and producer Logan has dropped his sophomore single, Huh. To celebrate the release, the musician is taking MILKY behind the scenes of the video shoot for the track and we're bringing you along!
Produced by Logan, Huh delves deeper into the musicians burgeoning realm of surf-rock-meets-pop. A dynamic soundscape lures the listener in, whilst Logan's charismatic performance simmers above. Engaging phrasing brings his get-to-know me lyricism to life, using the song as a vehicle to share his own story with listeners and allow them some insight into what led him to this present moment.
Since the release of his debut single, Having signed with Ivy League/Mushroom (The Teskey Brothers, The Rubens, The Beths, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever), FRNDS MGMT (DMA'S, Alison Wonderland, Pacific Avenue) and Village Sounds (Vance Joy, MAY-A, Courtney Barnett). The musician is set to support Pacific Avenue on the Brisbane dates of their Flowers tour, before playing a headline show at Gold Coast’s Mo’s Desert Clubhouse on Friday 25 August. Logan is also scheduled to take to the stage at Spilt Milk and BIGSOUND later this year.

The Huh music video originally was going to be a narrative driven type of video. Except, the more we would talk ideas, the more it appeared to me that it there was no way to put it together other than to create a sequence of moving singular scenes that express what I see in my head while listening to the song.

It took a few conversations due to my loose and abstract communicating, but in the end I was very lucky to have Levi Cranston (Director) to extract my thoughts and visions and turn them into a clear sight.

You’ll see bright colours, eccentric but goofy wardrobe & beautiful landscapes along with a healthy dose of character. You’ll potentially feel a Nostalgia that is true to the Iconic Australian Coastal Paradise, shot entirely on Kodak Film to nail the aesthetic.

The video was an absolute joy to create, brought much attention of the public when filming the scenes out in the open and left smiles on their faces and some laughing! One of the clips, we even got a round of applause from the people picnicking in the park!
