Grammy-winning, RIAA-certified multi-Platinum band Paramore have treated us with the release Re: This Is Why, a record featuring reimagined versions of the bands sixth studio album, This Is Why. The release arrives just in time for the bands return to Australian stages next month.
Across the album, the trio enlist a number of illustrious collaborators including Foals, The Linda Lindas, Panda Bear, Zane Lowe, Wet Leg, DOMi, JD BECK, Remi Wolf, Bartees Strange, Romy, Claud and Julien Baker who all put their unique spin on their respective tracks. The release also includes a demo of a previously unreleased track, Sanity.
Kicking off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on November 22, the band will then head to Sydney to perform their Australian headline show to date at ​the city's iconic Domain on November 25. Paramore will wrap up their tour down under at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on November 28. Before their Australian shows, the band will perform at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday 18 November. Californian singer-songwriter Remi Wolf is set to join the trio on all dates.
Two decades into Paramore’s storied career, their sixth studio album This is Why debuted at #1 in the UK and Australia - marking the band’s third #1 in both countries. The record also received the #1 spots on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, Billboard’s Vinyl Album Chart, Billboard’s Alternative Album chart, Billboard’s Rock Album chart, Billboard’s digital album chart and landed at #2 on the Billboard 200.
