Toowoomba singer/songwriter Montana Kennedy has unveiled her debut single, eggshells.
The honest track takes its influence from the the musicians favourite artists including Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, threading hints of country within an electronic soundscape, produced by Harry Fox. Fusing together the two genres, eggshells dissects and comments on toxic relationships.
Speaking of the track, Kennedy shares: “This is my very first time putting myself out there in such a huge way and being vulnerable to everyone feels really empowering. eggshells is a song about something lots of people go through and I am really excited and kind nervous to put everything out there and share my music with everyone”.
Over the past 18 months, Kennedy has been working away on new music, gearing up to release a string of singles throughout the year, followed up by her debut EP.
