Global superstar Miley Cyrus has treated fans with the announcement of her new single, Used To Be Young. Having teased the song with billboard posters appearing around the world, the track is set to be released next Friday alongside an extended version of the Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions).
Cyrus shared the news online alongside a visual where she dons a Mickey Mouse t-shirt, referencing her days on the Disney network as Hannah Montana. Speaking of the release, the singer shared: "In celebration of my new single release Endless Summer Vacation (backyard sessions) continues. Aug 24 @ 10pm EDT on ABC. This time with a retrospective interview sharing stories about the first 30 years of my life in honor of U2BY. This song is dedicated to my loyal fans. I love YOU for loving every version of ME." Fans can also pre-order a limited edition vinyl pressing of the single from the singers official website.
Earlier this year, Cyrus made history with her record breaking single, Flowers. The track broke the record for the most chart streams in a single week in Australia, and debuted at #1 on the ARIA Single Charts marking the singers first #1 single ever in Australia. Since its release, Flowers has remained at the top of the charts and served as the lead single from Cyrus' eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation.
Used To Be Young is out August 25.
