Happy Birthday Madonna! As the legendary singer celebrates her 63rd birthday, Madonna and Warner Music Group have announced a new partnership, which is set to revitalise their decades-long relationship that began in 1982 with the release of the singers debut single, Everybody.
The new agreement gives WMG access to Madonna's entire catalogue, including global smash albums such as Madonna, Like a Virgin, True Blue, Like a Prayer, and Ray of Light, as well as more recent releases MDNA, Rebel Heart, and Madame X. Warner Chappell Music also globally administers all of Madonna’s songwriting work.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Madonna's incredible career in 2022, WMG are set to unveil a string of releases, with the singer curating her own expansive deluxe editions of her iconic records, overseen by Warner Music’s catalog team, led by Kevin Gore, President of Global Catalog, Recorded Music.
Of the new partnership, Madonna shares: "Since the very beginning, Warner Music Group has helped bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world with the utmost care and consideration. They have been amazing partners, and I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalogue from the last 40 years.”
Her manager Guy Oseary said: “Over the past 30 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and spend time with many of Madonna’s incredible fans, and this new partnership will bring to fruition what so many of them have been patiently waiting for: a celebration of her groundbreaking catalogue. My partner Sara Zambreno and I are working closely with Warner Music Group to bring new life to these iconic works.”

This October, the singer will release a new documentary film, filmed on tour in Lisbon, Portugal. MADAME X gives audiences a glimpse into Madonna's most recent world tour, offering up an intimate glimpse that embodies the singers Madame X persona. The superstar has also shared her birthday wish, asking fans and friends to consider adopting a bed at the Mercy James Centre hospital in Malawi. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
