Meanjin/Brisbane indie-rock project Lucid Safari have dropped their new single, Waiting For The Sun.
Echoing with driving percussion and sun-drenched guitar melodies, the track captures the feel-good sun of summer within its simmering soundscape. Frontman Daniel Lewis' captivating vocals roam above, as he reflects on everyday life and shared experiences that captures the essence of good times and fun in the sun.
"As well as welcoming back the sunny season, the song reflects the feeling of living through the ebbs and flows of life knowing that when times are tough, good things are sure to come back around." Lewis shares.
To celebrate the release, the band are set to co-headline an exclusive show at Woolly Mammoth on November 12. The four-piece recently took to the stage at Wynnum Fringe Festival, and have supported Australian X-Factor winner Reece Mastin.
