“It’s crazy to think how The Squeeze has grown from an indoor event to a major outdoor national festival for its third year. After the industry has been hit so hard it’s a great feeling to know that we’re pulling this off. We share a great vision with Chugg Music to be able to achieve something more than just making records. This project is for the music industry and the hungry music lovers." Lime Cordiale detail of the event. "We’re staying true to what we first set out to do which is to showcase musicians that are more than just hype and hold an event that has more than just music. We want this to make a huge impact for the industry and a small impact on the environment. That’s why we have partnered with FEAT. Live on the festival to contribute a Solar Slice of $1.00 from each ticket sold which will go towards helping reduce carbon emissions and waste generated by live events with the aim of maximising positive environmental outcomes. The line up has been handpicked by us and something that we’d jump at buying tickets to see. Rural festivals are just more fun and go that little bit harder!”

The Squeeze will be teaming up with FEAT. Live to lead as the first partner of Solar Slice, a new climate action strategy designed to reduce the emissions of live entertainment by unlocking sustainability funding through ticket sales. $1 from each ticket will be put towards funding a carbon reduction program, in an effort to reduce the carbon footprint of touring.

The Solar Slice ticket is about baking sustainability into the DNA of live events. Oli and Louis and I have been chatting about this since before Covid, so it's super satisfying to be able to roll out the next evolution of the FEAT. mission together" shares FEAT. founder Heidi Lenffer (Cloud Control). "It's a pretty bold move, but we know for a lot of people this will be a no-brainer because so many of us are on the same page about climate urgency. We have about 8 years left to slash global emissions by 50% so this is the time to go hard."
