GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has taken us deeper into his sophomore album with the release of Wish You The Best. The intimate cut places the musicians inimitable vocals atop moving piano melodies, as he offers his rumination on love and loss, offering his well wishes to a former lover.

Wish You The Best came from the idea of a person you used to be with, telling you all this amazing stuff about their life, without you in it. It’s a song about what we don’t say to those people. I was fascinated by the things left unsaid, whether that be in a relationship or a friendship.” the musician shares. The release arrives alongside a heartbreaking visual, directed by Phil Beastall.

Having returned last year with Forget Me, Capaldi's sophomore album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, is set to arrive next month. Across the body of work, the musician has enlisted longtime collaborators TMS, producer/songwriter Phil Plested (James Bay, Bastille), super-producer Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd) and more. I don't want to create a new sound for myself, or reinvent myself,” Capaldi says of the album. “The songs I want to write are emotional songs, about love or loss.”

Kicking off with a newly added show at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on July 7, the tour will continue on to Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, before crossing the Tasman for performances in Auckland and Wellington. The shows mark Capaldi's first arena tour of Australia, with GRAMMY Award-nominated, multiplatinum singer-songwriter Noah Cyrus set to support on all dates, and will serve as the final leg of his world tour.

Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent is out May 19.
