KYLIE MINOGUE CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF 'FEVER'

The singer has also announced an expanded edition of her latest album, DISCO!

Australia’s Queen of Pop, the one and only Kylie Minogue has hit a major milestone. The superstars multi-platinum album Fever has turned 20! That's right, the album that spawned the hits Can't Get You Out of My Head, In Your Eyes, Love at First Sight and Come into My World is celebrating its 20th anniversary.


Made in collaboration with writers and producers including Cathy Dennis, Richard Stannard, Julian Gallagher, Ash Howes and Rob Davis, Fever went straight to number one in the singers homeland Australia, as well as her adopted home, the United Kingdom. The record went on to be certified 7x platinum in Australia and 5x platinum in the UK, as well as peaking at No 3 in the Billboard chart.



To celebrate the anniversary fans are in for a treat, with Minogue revealing a number of new format runs for the momentous occasion. From October 15 in Australia and the UK, fans can get their hands on a limited-edition white vinyl pressing of the iconic album, silver vinyl pressing, a frosted recycled clear cassette, as well as other merchandise that will be available exclusively on the singers website. The collection will be made available to the rest of the world on November 19.


The era brought us a number of iconic visuals, which have been remastered and are now available to watch on Minogue's official YouTube channel. Speaking of the clips, the singer shared: The Fever music videos... where do I even start??? I’m grateful for the incredible directors, designers, dancers and ALL OF YOU for these videos (and a few versions of myself ) The newly remastered videos are out now on my YouTube channel … Relive, rediscover #KylieFever20".



It seems October is the month of Minogue, with the singer announcing a new expanded version of her fifteenth studio album, DISCO. Dubbed DISCO: Guest List Edition, the re-release is set to arrive with a handful of new tracks and remixes, with new collaborators including Dua Lipa, Gloria Gaynor, Years and Years and Jessie Ware. We ourselves said in our review of the album that the bass slapping New Groove is crying out for a remix featuring Dua Lipa, and DISCO: Guest List Edition will feature the Studio 2054 remix of the track, as well as a limited edition release which will include Minogue's livestream concert, The Infinite Disco.


Fever (20th Anniversary Edition is out October 15.
