Aussie rocker Jimmy Barnes has shared his new rendition of Silent Night, showing a tender and vulnerable side of the notoriously rowdy rocker.
Barnes premiered the song with a performance on last nights season finale of Q&A. The musician he appeared on the panel alongside Federal MP Kristy McBain, former Liberal MP Michael Yabsley, sex worker, artist and writer Rita Therese, and international relations expert Lavina Lee.
Adapting to the social restriction guidelines of 2020, Barnes and his wife Jane transformed their lounge room into a live setting, posting acoustic performances of nearly 200 songs. With combined views in excess of 80 million, these intimate live performances helped the musician keep in touch with his fans throughout a challenging year.
All profits from the release go directly towards to charities supporting children in need.
