Techo duo Hellcat Speedracer have dropped their first official single, Pattie. The release is accompanied by a visual, directed by Raghav Rampal, that transports us to an underground rave.
Weaving together notes of late 90’s/early 2000’s electronic sonics, the dynamic and textural release is built upon analog synth work whilst simmering raw drum patterns are unleashed beneath. The dance-floor ready track urges listeners to cut-loose and let their hair down, as the duo chant "We came to party."
“Pattie is a mind-bending rave anthem with Breakbeat drums, accompany grinding arpeggiating basslines and providing a solid base for blaring synth lines and quirky upfront vocals to make 'Pattie' a go-to festival peak time slayer this summer!” the duo share.
Hellcat Speedracer is the musical project of Good Lekker bandmates, Oliver Critchley and Alex Gray. Bonding over the interest in rave culture and techno music, the duo began working on original material together, bringing their own distinct individual strengths to the project.
