Iconic English virtual band Gorillaz celebrated their 20th anniversary last Friday, with the band having released their eponymous debut album on 26th March 2001. To celebrate the occasion, Gorillaz have a whole lot of goodness planned for 2021!

Throughout the year, the band will relaunch their clothing line, G Foot Collection, with an all new line to celebrate their unique style throughout their career. Gorillaz will once again team up with Superplastic for a range of limited-edition toys and digital collectibles.

If that wasn't enough, we'll also be receiving the first re-issue of the bands albums, kicking off with Gorillaz. The re-issues are set to feature a number of new gems, such as early demos, deep dive musical moments, early drawings and never-before-seen-or-heard Gorillaz memories

Created by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, drummer Russel Hobbs and Japanese guitar prodigy Noodle were formed following a collision of mishaps, meetings and pure luck to blow up a pre-digital world with their colourful backstory and ground-breaking virtual ways. Based at Kong Studios in West London, the band settled into a life of musical innovation with an exciting roster of collaborators, a list that includes musical legends, geniuses and future stars from Elton John to Little Simz, MF Doom to Jean-Michel Jarre, Grace Jones to slowthai, Kali Uchis to Sidiki Diabaté, plus so many more.
