Australian trio Flying Machine have delivered their new single, Rainbow. The release arrives alongside an official visual, made up of archival footage from the band and Dougal Gorman of their time on the road.

Fuelled by their signature psych-rock sonic exploration, threads of punk and garage-rock are effortlessly woven throughout to create a surging soundscape that unfurls beneath frontman Gauranga Wright's hypnotic vocals. The track builds towards a magnetic guitar solo, with the song showcasing the bands songwriting prowess and craftful approach to creating a dynamic and textural listening experience.

"Rainbow is reminiscent of a time where you would get lost in the romanticism of charm and chivalry was yet dead, it grabs your loved one by the hand and says “baby be mine". the band share.

Having formed in 2018, Flying Machine shared their debut EP in 2018, followed up by two full-length bodies of work, 2019's Flying Machine and 2022's Angels. The trio are currently working on their third album, self-recording the project from their own studio. The band have been carving their own path in Australia's live music scene, supporting the likes of Lime Cordiale, The Chats, King Stingray, DZ Deathrays, Drunk Mums, The Delta Riggs and Pist Idiots, and recently supported SKEGGS on their west coast tour of North America.
