18-year-old Vancouver musician ekkstacy is back with his new single, i want to be by your side, teaming up with herhexx on the dreamy track. Directed by Jack Baldwin, the visual follows the two musicians on a gloomy afternoon, with both artists contemplating their own inner fears.
Influenced by the likes of Elliott Smith, Bon Iver and The Drums, the atmospheric release continues the musicians establishment of his own unique sound. Built upon rolling percussion and a soft guitar riff, the duos gentle and hazy vocals float above the sonics, whilst they mull over failures and the cruelties of everyday life.
