Legendary British rockers Coldplay have announced they're hitting Perth! The band will visit the Western Australian city for a one-off stop down under for their Music of The Spheres World Tour.
Supported by beloved Australian singer-songwriters Amy Shark and Thelma Plum, Coldplay will take to the stage at Perth’s Optus Stadium on November 18. An exclusive pre-sale will kick off on May 15 at 10am until Tuesday 16 May at 9am. General public tickets will go on sale on May 16 at 10am. “We're so happy to be returning to Perth for an extra special one-off show at Optus Stadium on November 18th this year. It’s a huge deal for us and we’re massively looking forward to coming back to Western Australia. It’s been way too long.” the band share.
The Western Australian Government, through Tourism WA, and Live Nation are hopeful the performance will cause an increase in tourism to the western state, and inject millions into the local economy. “This drawcard event is all part of the WA Government's and Tourism WA’s new major events strategy, to bring incredible events to the state that entice visitors to travel to Western Australia and enjoy all WA - the Dream State - has to offer.” WA’s Deputy Premier, the Hon. Roger Cook says.
